An idea that we may have mistakenly fallen into is believe that Allah sent down anxiety disorder and depression upon us, because He wanted to make us suffer, and everybody else in the world can enjoy life and socialise and feel normal. So we may have been tricked into believing that because Allah created everything, and Allah is in charge of our affairs, and Allah wrote everything down for us, that He is the One the caused the anxiety disorder. He did it to us…….!
Well, I have a very important newsflash. Allah is not responsible for giving us anxiety disorder! Anxiety is bad. It is suffering. Allah doesn’t want us to suffer. Allah doesn’t want bad stuff to happen to us. You know who caused our anxiety disorder? Shaitan did.
Shaitan is a scoundrel. He is a humiliation, and he is jealous of you and me. He tricked us into believing we are worthless and losers when we had no idea he was even there. He took advantage of us as young children and adolescents and inserted terrible ideas into our minds about who we are, and he whispered them into our classmates and peers around us growing up. And he convinced us of the terrible beliefs we have about ourselves. All of this was done as an undercover plan to create the stress and anxiety disorder we are suffering from now. He convinced us that we are bad and others are good because of abilities they have. But abilities are all gifts from Allah.

Then the false beliefs rooted in our hearts set the foundation and recipe for a stressful life; the stress rooted in our own personalities and our rejection of our ownselves because we feel we are no good for who we are. It makes sense why the devil wants us to believe that. Because he hates us, and is completely jealous of us that we were honoured above him.
The sustained stress and unhealthy beliefs proved to be the perfect recipe in Shaitan’s cookbook to bake an anxiety disorder. It took a lifetime of careful planning on shaitan’s part however. But yes, he succeeded in what he set out to do. Now we’re stuck with anxiety disorder.
And Shaitan will not stop until he sees us committing kufr and denying Islam and Allah altogether. So now he is playing the blame game with us. He makes us blame others for our problems. He says, “it’s because of so and so that this happened.” He takes our anxiety disorder that he perpetrated in the first place, and then he incites us to blame Allah for sending down anxiety disorder upon us. He is trying to make us hate Allah for what he did. He is trying to make us disbelievers.
Shaitan blames Allah for doing wrong. He believes Allah does injustice and harms His creation.
??? ?? ??? ???????
He said: “My Rabb, because you have put me in the wrong……” 15:39
This is the “satanic school of thought.” To believe that Allah does injustice and harms people. And his actions don’t have any wisdom behind it. May Allah protect us and purify us from this school of thought.
We need to be fully confident and fully internalise the belief that Allah is completely free of doing any harm and injustice to his creation. And He never wanted any evil to happen to us. Allah does not send evil down upon us. There is no evil attributed to Allah. Shaitan is the ultimate source of evil. And then us humans who get tricked by shaitan also can cause harm to ourselves and others as well.
????? ??? ????
And evil is not to you. (Dua of the Prophet ?????? ? ??????) Al-Nasai
remember that evil is not attributed to Allah. Let’s turn to Allah for help out of the dilemma that Shaitan has put us in. Shaitan has always wanted us to suffer, and Allah has always wanted us to be happy. When we understand that Shaitan is the culprit behind our anxiety disorder, and our Rabb is the One we turn to for help to get out of it, it becomes easier to love Allah, and to get closer to Him, and to understand the du’a of Ayub and how applicable it is to our situation.

Oh Rabbi, Shaitan has afflicted me with exhaustion and torture. Surah Sad.
Assalamu Alaikum,
Nice post, Jazakullah Khair. Feels good to know that I’m not the only one suffering. It’s been sooo many years. I have started realizing recently that Shaitan is responsible for my anxiety. We do know where he’s going to end, InShaAllah. Let’s pray we don’t end up with him, InShaAllah.
Audhubillahi Minash Shaitan Nirrajeem & May Allah always protect us Muslims.
Ameen. Yea being stuck so long makes it more difficult. Allah will help us.
Shaitan wants to misgude people especially the ones who are devoted to Allah (and hardly ever comit any sin). Anxiety is the one which every human being fails for, and shaitaan is aware of that. He starts by injecting this anxiety into the believer and slowly makes the believer slip here and there until they feel uneasy and lost and broken.
May Allah cure everyone and help them out.
I’m thankful to Allah that I found this site – it describes me perfectly and it’s been so many years for me too, and I’m struggling now more than ever. I hope to find a way out inshaAllah.
Awesome. I hope we all benefit from it.
Does that mean it’s possible for everyone to become a believer if they choose to?
Yea. Of course. Belief is your choice.
yes shaitan causes ths anxiety
Shaitan is our enemy
